Most jewelry at this price is plated so thinly that it turns within a season. Ours is set by hand in a solid base and given a heavy finish, which is the slow and expensive part, and the part that decides whether a piece still looks right in a year.

That is the whole of it. No secret process, no story about a workshop. Just the step that costs money, done properly.

How do I reach you?

Email support@ruthandpearl.com. A person answers, any day of the week, and we reply within one business day. If you are writing about an order, include the email address you ordered with and we will find it.

How long do I have to return something?

30 days from the day it arrives, for any reason or none. Email us and we send a return address. Once it reaches us we refund the full amount to your original payment method.

Will it tarnish?

Not under normal wear. Every piece is given a heavy finish and sealed, which is the slow part most brands skip. If the finish wears through in the first year we replace it. Chlorine, salt water and perfume sprayed straight onto a piece will shorten the life of any finish, including ours.

Is it safe for sensitive skin?

Everything we sell is nickel free. That is the metal most people react to. If a piece still bothers you, send it back under the 30-day return.

How do I find my ring size?

Our rings run in US sizes 6 to 10 and are true to size. If you are between sizes, take the larger one. Got it wrong? Email us and we exchange it.

Where does my order ship from, and how long does it take?

Our pieces are made and despatched by our manufacturing partner in China and posted straight to you. That means a parcel crossing a border, so it takes longer to arrive than something picked up the road from you. You get a tracking link the moment it is collected and it works the whole way. Any customs or duty on the way in is on us, never on you.
